Our Story:

When a hot house on the hottest street came up in my dream neighborhood, I called Mary early the next morning and she jumped into action.

The house had several offers on it just twelve hours in, and the seller's agent was planning to make a decision that evening rather wait for the scheduled open house. Mary worked quickly with us to craft the right offer and mix of terms. She pushed back gracefully when she disagreed and didn't just go as high on price as she knew we could. What we collectively delivered was aggressive, calculated, and a responsible offer. It left us some outs should major items come up while being realistic about the mix needed to lock it down. We ended up being one of two deals left on the table and going toe-to-toe with someone offering an aggressive escalation clause. Between Mary's diplomacy and our genuine interest in honoring the home's history and previous owner, we were selected due to reasons beyond just the price, and won the deal. Amazing.

Post acceptance is where Mary shined best. She was an impressive communicator and kept up with us regularly with updates. Mary's local network also got us an incredible mortgage rate that beat out my usual go-to national vendors.

She took point on the timeline management, inspection coordination, and represented us on site when we were too busy with work. Her professionalism and polish was apparent and on full display daily and we were constantly impressed.

When a potentially deal-ending plumbing issue was discovered (the specific one she'd predicted, btw), Mary took charge and masterfully negotiated a $20K+ improvement without losing the deal. The seller was in no way obligated to provide it and easily could have walked for previous offers, but that Mary Magic ✨ did its thing.

Even post close, Mary was super awesome and generous. She went above and beyond yet again, and ensured we were properly welcomed to the neighborhood. My partner and I were buying our first home together and she made sure it was a special moment. Mary brought us some bubbles and a personal gift she MADE that remains on our wall to this day. She also gave us a gift card for the neighborhood restaurant and a customized ice bucket for all our future celebrations. It was all so special.

Mary did a ton more I don't have time to detail, but just know I wish could have crossed paths with her much sooner and there isn't a chance I'll work with anyone else in the future.
